If you don’t like to get full body massages, but prefer a more customized massage approach, call Sarah Klide and her team. Klide is a licensed clinical massage therapist with The Tenants' Therapy Center, a small yet innovative massage company that customizes massage treatment for each person, giving them a massage that’s perfect for their specific circumstances. For example, some clients may prefer a full body massage while others may prefer a facial massage. With a massage unlike any other, Tenants’ therapy centers are inviting to many women who don’t like to get massages. Although Klide was hesitant about becoming a massage therapist at first, she’s since developed a passion for massages. She attended a massage school in Atlanta and started practicing in January 2017. Her training provided her with unique clinical skills and techniques that she can employ at each massage.
Surprisingly, Klide is not entirely a newbie to the massage world. Before her time with Tenants’ Therapy Center, she worked in a spa in San Francisco. She says she decided to open her own massage center after concluding that the more she practiced, the more she felt as though she was repeating her massage “nostalgic pose” from her training school, and that if she really wanted to progress she would need to open her own business.
Klide’s professional background combined with her recent experience and fresh mindset gave her an edge over her competitors. Tenants’ Therapy Center facilitates well-known massage techniques but also blends a personalized touch and innovative techniques, making it unique among independent massage therapists.
Klide says that only “experienced practitioners,” or those who already have a background in massage, and do not need prior training for this work are eligible to open their own massage business.
Though all ten Tenants’ Therapy Center therapists are board certified, each of them independently has extensive training programs.
Klide says, “Many therapists can come to us with five years of experience, and our experience has never been better.” She specializes in nail manipulation and other oral massage therapies and works with clients of all ages and sizes. A few of her most common clients are people who will frequently undergo more extensive health issues and are undergoing a variety of treatments, including acupuncture, skin care and meditation, that are difficult to manage without the right massage practice.
Tenants’ Therapy Center clients and friends rave about the company’s warm and welcoming staff and Klide herself, saying they feel as though they are doing something really special every time they get a massage from her.
